Dr Susan Aldridge
Susan Aldridge is a freelance writer, editor and consultant, specialising in medicine, biotechnology, health, chemistry, psychology and general science. She was educated at Cambridge University and has a PhD in chemistry from the University of London. She has a background in medical research and was formerly Medical Editor of Focus (now BBC Focus) magazine. She is a regular contributor to Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News, Pharmaceutical Technology Europe, BBC Focus, Flipside and Chemistry World.
Dr (Julie) Naima Reza BSc (hons), MSc, PhD, Dip Sci Comm
Is a writer and consultant specialising in global healthcare and biomedicine. Her work focuses on the training and information needs of healthcare providers and scientists. An immunologist/neuroscientist by training, she has several years experience of teaching at postgraduate level. Julie sits on the steering group for HIFA2015, and is a member of the Association of British Science Writers. Previously, she was at the Wellcome Trust, where she worked on multimedia educational CDROMs covering international health topics, and led projects on African trypanosomiasis and trachoma.
